Job Description

Federal (Indian Health Service) contract assignment for a primary care physician.
  • Schedule Mon-Fri 8-hour shifts. No weekends, call, or holidays
  • Term: 6-12 month terms with option to extend
  • Needs are for the Oklahoma City Area Indian Health Service
  • Paid travel/lodging (including hotel with kitchen when available)
  • Volumes: approximately 12-16 patients per day. Often 45 minute appointments for new patients and 30 min for follow ups
  • No part-time options, this is a contract assignment requiring Mon-Fri coverage (with occasional time off allowed)

Job Responsibilities

Prefer providers who see all ages but certain locations are open to providers who only see adults.

Qualifications

Completed Residency in Internal Medicine OR Family Medicine
Any active state license or U.S. Territory
Unrestricted DEA
BLS

Working Hours

Hours are 8a-5p or 8a-4:30p (with lunch break). Hours may be adjusted by the Chief.
8-hour workdays with no weekends or on-call.
