Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine, internal medicine or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.
• Certifications Required for non-ABEM Physicians: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance and promote team support.
• 24-hour physician coverage model with 12 or 24-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to approximately 9,000 patients each year at The Medical Center at Scottsville, a critical access hospital with a 7-bed emergency department.
• Deliver timely, high-quality emergency care backed by Stroke Ready, Heart Ready, and STEMI Ready certifications.
• EMR: EPIC.

Living and Working in Scottsville:

• Scottsville is home to roughly 4,500 residents. The town has a rural, small-town atmosphere with a strong emphasis on family, local history, and community heritage.
• The Scottsville area offers some of the best hunting and fishing in the state of Kentucky.
