Join a high-performing emergency medicine team at a community hospital in Circleville, Ohio, about 35 minutes south of Columbus. We are seeking an experienced, motivated Assistant Medical Director to support clinical leadership, operational excellence, and team development. The role offers a balanced mix of clinical practice and leadership in a growing, well-supported ED that sees about 25,000 visits a year.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital has served Pickaway County since 1930 and is part of a large regional health system. It offers a robust robotic surgery program, connectivity to the system's stroke network, and a helipad for rapid trauma transfers.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- Annual ED volume: approximately 25,000 visits
- 21 ED beds
- Acuity: medium; admission rate approximately 13%
- Bedside ultrasound and overnight radiology coverage
- EMR: Epic
- Helipad for rapid trauma transfers
COMPENSATION
- $210/hour for day shifts
- $220/hour for night shifts
- Sign-on bonus available
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
- Prior leadership experience preferred but not required
- Strong clinical and customer service skills, with interest in operations, quality, and team development
- A collaborative communicator ready to grow into expanded leadership responsibilities
- Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Active Ohio medical license
