Facility:
This community hospital provides a full-service Emergency Department and Urgent Care setting, seeing approximately 40-60 patients in a 24-hour period. The facility is well-supported with General Surgery, Orthopedics, and a collaborative Hospitalist team, along with Telestroke and Tele ICU services and an on-site UW helicopter for advanced patient care.Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency MedicineJob Details:
- Provide emergency medicine coverage in a 13-bed ED/UC setting with approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
- Day shifts available: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Night shifts available: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Work alongside 2 APCs and a collaborative physician team during day and PM shifts
- Access to on-site support services including General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiology, and Laboratory available 24 hours
- Telestroke and Tele ICU services available to support patient care
- UW helicopter on site for advanced transport needs
- Level 4 Trauma facility
- Active Wisconsin license or IMLC required
- Board certification required with ACLS and ATLS certifications required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- Nearest airport: Madison - MSN
- Lodging available at Best Western Portage
- Ongoing coverage needs extending into 2027
