A physician-led community hospital in Eastern North Carolina is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established Emergency Department team. This opportunity offers a predictable schedule, physician assistant support, and the flexibility to live in several desirable North Carolina communities.
Position Highlights
- 12 shifts per month
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m)
- One physician coverage on days and nights
- Physician Assistant support
- Structured handoff at the end of each shift
- Approximately 32,000 annual Emergency Department visits
- 22-bed Emergency Department
- Average patient acuity of ESI 3-4
- Hospitalist support available
- 24/7 Radiology coverage
- Air and ground transport available for higher-acuity patients
- On-site General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology support
- Physician-led practice environment
