This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare resource for the surrounding community, featuring a 22-bed emergency department with an open ICU and strong physician and mid-level support. The facility offers hospital-owned apartment accommodations for providers and has a robust annual patient volume of 32,000 with key support services including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology available 24 hours.Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Emergency MedicineJob Details:
- Provide standard solo emergency room coverage for 12-hour shifts (7A-7P)
- Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift with a daily department volume of 90-100 patients
- Work alongside 2 mid-level providers in a 1 physician/2 mid-level split coverage model
- Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS prior to submission
- Must hold an active NC license or IMLC licensure
- Board certification required (minimum certified)
- EMR system is Meditech 6.1
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
- Hospital-owned apartments provided for housing
