The clinic operates within a modern, fully equipped environment that supports both in-clinic and virtual patient visits, offering providers access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technology.Opportunity:
Physician - DermatologyJob Details:
- Locum to Perm opportunity - candidates open to permanent placement are encouraged to apply
- Monday through Friday schedule, 7:40am to 4:40pm, with no holidays and no call coverage required
- Appointment lengths of 15-20 minutes with time blocked for lunch from 12-1pm
- Both in-clinic and virtual patient visits included in schedule
- Approximately 24-32 patient encounters per shift
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with benign and malignant disorders of the integumentary system including epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous tissue, hair, nails, mouth, external genitalia, and cutaneous glands, as well as sexually transmitted diseases
- Diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, moles, and other tumors of the skin
- Management of contact dermatitis, allergic and non-allergic skin disorders, and skin manifestations of systemic and infectious diseases
- Management of cosmetic disorders of the skin such as hair loss, scars, and skin changes associated with aging
- Interpretation of specially prepared tissue sections, cellular scrapings, and smears of skin lesions by means of routine and special methods including electron and fluorescent
- Perform simple excision and repair, skin and nail biopsies, dermatologic surgery, electrosurgery, and cryosurgery
- No Mohs surgery and no cosmetic surgery required
- Equipment used includes DAX AI, Essentia Health phone, webcam and headset, DermLite, and Hyfrecators
- Board certification required with a credentialing timeframe of approximately 45-120 days
- Outpatient clinical setting only
