This established healthcare facility serves the Richlands community and surrounding Southwest Virginia region, providing comprehensive cardiovascular and internal medicine services. The facility features a 4-bed department with strong support systems in place to ensure quality patient care.Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - CardiologyJob Details:
- Provide both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services with 10-12 patient encounters per shift
- Manage ICU-level cardiology patients requiring advanced cardiac care
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiology procedures including echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Conduct nuclear cardiology studies including Cardiolyte and thallium imaging
- Manage STEMI cases with appropriate clinical decision-making
- Perform electrophysiology services including cardiac ablation
- Perform permanent pacemaker placements and implantable cardioverter defibrillator (AICD/ICD) procedures
- Active Virginia medical license required
- ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 30 days
- Start Date: December 1, 2026 - Ongoing
