This regional medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare hub for southern New Mexico, providing a wide range of medical services to the surrounding community. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with strong clinical support and a collaborative environment for locum providers.Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - CardiologyJob Details:
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in-clinic setting
- Coverage needed for October, November, and December
- 15 patient encounters per shift
- Duties include taking generalist call, reading echocardiograms, and performing TEE procedures
- Provide both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services
- Perform non-invasive cardiology including echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- STEMI management required
- Invasive cardiology - diagnostic only required
- Board certification required with a 30-day credentialing timeframe
- BLS certification required
- Active New Mexico license or IMLC required to be considered
- Nearest airport is El Paso with hotel accommodations available nearby
