Cardiologist Position Overview
As a Cardiologist at Vernon Health, you will provide expert clinical oversight and support for the cardiovascular service line in a rural health organization. Job Responsibilities
• Interpret non-invasive cardiology diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac monitors, and other diagnostic tools to determine the best course of care.
• Provide cardiology consultation for inpatient care as needed.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, nursing services, and well-established diagnostic and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation departments.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with Vernon Health standards.
Qualifications
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology.
• Valid Wisconsin medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
