About the Role
A regional hospital in Indiana is seeking an Anesthesiologist for December holiday coverage with the potential for ongoing assignments in 2027. This is a fixed 8-hour schedule with no option to extend shifts.
Position Highlights
- Exact-date commitment required: Dec 14–18 + Dec 21–28 + Dec 28–31
- Ongoing 2027 coverage available
- 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 8-hour shifts
- Holiday + weekend call coverage included
- Drive-in candidates preferred
- Competitive locum compensation + call/holiday pay
- Full credentialing + orientation support
Job Responsibilities
- Perform advanced anesthesia procedures including central/arterial lines, PA/dialysis catheters, blocks + epidurals
- Manage airways, ventilation + complex perioperative cases
- Provide CRNA supervision + participate in applicable call coverage
- Sign required anesthesia attestation for assigned procedures
Qualifications
- Active IN license + CSR + DEA
- ACLS + BLS required
- Strong experience across the required anesthesia case mix
- 12-month procedure logs required
- Must complete orientation on Friday, Dec. 11, 2026
- Must be fully credentialed
Working Hours
- Dec 21–28, 2026 — includes weekend call through 7:00 AM Dec. 28
- Dec 28–31, 2026
- Potential ongoing coverage throughout 2027
