About the Role
A regional hospital in Indiana is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a focused December holiday assignment. Cardiac fellowship training is preferred, but experienced anesthesiologists with strong recent cardiac case experience may be considered with qualifying case logs + attestation.
Position Highlights
- Short-term December assignment + defined holiday coverage
- Monday-Thursday OR coverage, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM + cardiac call Dec. 24-28
- Cardiac fellowship preferred; strong cardiac experience may qualify
- Advanced cardiac + vascular anesthesia exposure
- Epic EMR
- Competitive locum compensation + holiday differential + call/callback pay
- Travel/lodging support available per assignment terms
Job Responsibilities
- Manage advanced cardiac anesthesia, invasive monitoring, airway management + perioperative care
- Support applicable vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, OB, regional + neuraxial cases
- Participate in holiday cardiac call + CRNA supervision as required
Qualifications
- Cardiac fellowship preferred; non-fellowship candidates considered with recent qualifying case logs + attestation
- Active IN license or IMLC
- ACLS + BLS required
Working Hours
- Dec 24-28: Cardiac call, 7:00 AM Dec 24 – 7:00 AM Dec 28
- No night call during regular OR days
- Holiday rates: Dec 24 + 25
- Call: 24-hour coverage during Dec 24-28
- 24-hour call: 2-hour gratis
- Assignment: Dec 21-28, 2026
