Opportunity:

Advanced Practitioners - Urological Surgery

Job Details:

  • Join a dynamic inpatient urology team as a Physician Assistant
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and round at the hospital
  • Oversee consults and contribute to urology procedures
  • Work collaboratively with urologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
  • Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare team members
  • Identify problems outside scope of practice and refer appropriately to physicians
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule with no call required
  • Travel between sites is required but fully reimbursed
  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
  • Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP certified) credentials required
  • 2+ years of urology experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
