Facility:
This outpatient surgery center is a high-volume facility performing an average of 90-110 scheduled non-urgent cases per week. The center operates with strong team support in the OR, including surgeons, scrub techs, circulating RNs, and CRNAs, providing an excellent collaborative environment for surgical assist professionals.Opportunity:
Board Eligible/Certified - Physician Assistant- General SurgeryJob Details:
- Surgical assist role with General Surgery as the highest priority, along with Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, and ENT
- Average of 90-110 scheduled non-urgent cases performed per week
- Assist in the OR on surgical cases with an average daily census of 10-30 cases
- Typical OR support team includes surgeon, scrub tech, circulating RN, and CRNA
- 10 patient encounters per shift
- No outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with the possibility of rotating weekends
- Cases may occasionally extend past 5:00 PM to 6:00 or 7:00 PM; no call expected at this time
- Must hold an active Georgia state license
- Board certification or board eligibility required
- BLS certification required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
