The School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology are recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant-Specialty Care II in several different settings. These positions serve as clinical support staff for the MU Department of Neurology & Sleep Disorders Clinic.

Responsibilities include:
- Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals to provide care to neurological patients in an outpatient setting.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical conditions, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes of conditions.
- Perform treatments and interventions; conduct teaching and counseling of patients and families; and facilitate clinical research.
- Requires basic computer skills, problem solving, willingness to learn new skills and methods, and ability to perform duties in a variety of work settings.
