This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility offering comprehensive neonatal services in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. The facility features a Level II 3-bed NICU with strong physician and APP collaboration, ensuring exceptional patient care for the region's most vulnerable patients.Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (NP) - Physician Assistant - NeonatologyJob Details:
- Provide daily oversight and care for neonates in a Level II 3-bed NICU, working in collaboration with attending physicians
- See babies born and not admitted to the NICU as needed
- Work 24-hour shifts from 8a to 8a
- Handle 3-6 patient encounters per shift
- Must be proficient in the following required skills: UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Active Pennsylvania license required; IMLC accepted
- Board certification required
- Orientation includes one full day of Epic setup, photo ID processing, and shadowing with a facility APP
- Epic proficiency testing required on first day of orientation
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
