Looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to join its hospitalist team for an ongoing daytime assignment beginning December 2026 and ongoing need

This is a great opportunity for a PA who wants predictable weekday hours, no call, a manageable patient census, and a supportive community hospital environment.

• Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM

• NO call

• NO nights

• 8–10 patients per day

• 100% adult inpatient/observation

What You'll Be Doing

You'll provide daytime hospitalist coverage for adult medical patients, managing floor, observation, and intermediate/step-down patients.

Responsibilities include:

• Inpatient admissions and hospital medicine

• Evaluation and management of adult patients

• Responding to codes and rapid responses

• Stabilizing critically ill patients

• Coordinating transfers when higher-level care is required

• Collaborating with physicians, ED staff, surgeons, nursing, and case management

Ventilator management experience is preferred.

• Physician Assistant (PA)

• Board certified

• Adult inpatient/hospitalist experience

• Vermont license or willingness to obtain

• Clean background and professional record

• No malpractice or licensing issues
