Facility:
This is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) with an average daily census of 14-17 patients. The facility offers a collaborative environment staffed by two Hospitalist APCs during day shifts, with 24-hour general surgery call coverage. Ancillary services include Lab, Imaging, PT/OT, Wound Clinic, Cardiopulmonary, and Respiratory Therapy, ensuring comprehensive patient care support.Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant- HospitalistJob Details:
- Provide hospitalist coverage from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM as part of a two-APC team
- Manage a varied patient census within an 18-bed department
- Support 24-hour general surgery call coverage responsibilities
- Collaborate with ancillary services including Lab, Imaging, PT/OT, Wound Clinic, Cardiopulmonary, and Respiratory Therapy
- Active ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
- No board certification requirement to apply
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
- Nearest airport is MSP for travel convenience
