Job description
An academically affiliated community hospital in Southwest New York is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its Hospitalist team in a night-shift role. This 49-bed acute care facility serves patients across Allegany County, western Steuben County, and northern Potter County, PA, and is known for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 7 PM-7 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Setting: 49-bed acute care hospital (average census 20-25 patients shared among providers)
- Structure: Solo night coverage with MD backup and in-house Emergency Medicine support
- No call responsibilities
- EMR: EPIC
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $110,476.80-$140,112.00 (based on experience)
- 5 weeks PTO plus 56 hours of sick time
- $1,500 CME allowance
- Loan repayment: $15,000 annually after one year of employment
- Potential for sign-on and/or relocation assistance

Qualifications:
- NCCPA certification required
- Hospitalist or acute care experience preferred (new graduates considered)
