Position Overview
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a primarily outpatient general cardiology position. The role is currently clinic-based with a weekday daytime schedule.
You will see patients independently on your own clinic schedule, working alongside a collaborative group of cardiologists who are readily available for consultation and shared care.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate and manage new and established cardiology patients
- Develop treatment plans, adjust therapy, and follow patients over time
- Order and review diagnostic testing as appropriate
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans
- Coordinate care with cardiologists, nursing staff, and referring providers
- Other duties as assigned
