This is a Level II trauma center providing inpatient hospital-based care to an adult and geriatric patient population. The facility is part of a well-established and highly regarded health system known for its commitment to clinical excellence, leadership development, and teaching opportunities.Opportunity:
NP/PA - CardiologyJob Details:
- Two Cardiology APP providers needed to start as soon as credentialed
- Locum position with potential to convert to Locum to Perm
- Inpatient/hospital-based practice setting serving adult and geriatric patients
- 80% inpatient rounding, 20% outpatient responsibilities
- Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology inpatient rounding service
- Provide discharge instructions and manage post-procedure care
- No procedure skills required
- Average daily volume of 20-25 patients based on the inpatient list
- Leadership and teaching responsibilities included
- EMR: Epic
- Schedule: 2 weeks per month, 7 days on / 7 days off, Sunday through Saturday, 7:30am - 4:00pm; no overnights, no on-call
- Target start date: January 2027
- Credentialing timeframe estimated at 90-120 days
- Board Certification required
- 3 or more years of prior experience in an inpatient and outpatient cardiology setting required
- Active Michigan license required at time of name clear
- ACLS and BLS through AHA required
- Clean background required; no malpractice or license issues, no exceptions
- AANP or NCCPA certification required
- Local candidates requiring only mileage reimbursement will be prioritized
