Hancock offers a unique opportunity to work in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula, where you can enjoy a university community atmosphere with access to Lake Superior beaches, nature trails, and outdoor activities year-round. This small-town setting provides rich history, natural beauty, and a four-season wonderland for outdoor enthusiasts without the stress of long commutes or traffic congestion.
• Work 6 to 10 hour shifts every 14 days with opportunity for additional shifts
• Provide coverage during open hours of operation 9am-6pm seven days a week (9am-2pm holidays)
• 100% outpatient practice with no after-hours call requirements
• Handle daily patient volumes averaging 25 in Houghton and 15 in Calumet
• Perform waived testing including COVID antigen testing, strep, RSV, Influenza A/B, urine dips, and urine hCG
• Provide suturing of simple wounds and administer vaccines (Tetanus and Influenza)
• Offer occupational health services in Calumet location
• Utilize Athena EMR system in collegial and supportive practice environment
• Work with dedicated clinical staff including PSR and MA/CMA/LPN support
• Access to X-ray services in Calumet location
• Clinics co-located with fitness center, physical therapy, and rehab services
