The center offers both inpatient and outpatient services, featuring a dedicated neurosurgery clinic and strong support for locum providers.Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - NeurosurgeryJob Details:
- Seeking a NP or PA with experience in Neurosurgery to provide coverage 2-3 weeks per month
- Coverage weeks may vary depending upon current employed NP and PA scheduling needs
- Provide inpatient rounding at the affiliated hospital with variable patient volumes
- Provide clinic coverage with scheduled patients at the Spine and Neurosciences Neurosurgery Clinic located on the 3rd floor of the hospital
- Clinic scheduled patients can range from 8-10 daily
- Clinic scheduling is flexible with either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days weekly
- Patient encounters per shift are varied
- BLS certification required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
- Nearest airport is Central WI Airport (CWA)
- Lodging available at the Hilton Garden Inn - Wausau
- Assignment type is Locum Tenens, ASAP start with ongoing need
