A health services network in Alabama is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a one-day assignment in Montgomery.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday, December 1
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Setting: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Perform Human Performance Exams and related occupational health evaluations
- Assess functional movement, musculoskeletal stability, strength, endurance, and range of motion
- Review lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling capabilities for job-specific requirements
- Identify medical limitations or restrictions that may affect job performance
- Provide fit-for-duty and medical clearance determinations based on clinical findings
- Complete focused physical exams, health screenings, and timely documentation in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Active AL Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Experience in occupational health, urgent care, employee health, or pre-employment screenings
- Ability to make clinical clearance decisions and assess functional capacity for job-specific tasks
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently during a full shift in a high-volume screening setting
