A healthcare provider in Ashburn, VA is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a one-day assignment performing Human Performance Exams and fit-for-duty evaluations in a fast-paced, high-volume event setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday, November 3
- Hours: 7am to 6pm
- Setting: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Perform Human Performance Exams, including functional movement and musculoskeletal stability assessments
- Evaluate lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling capabilities, as well as range of motion, strength, and endurance
- Conduct focused physical exams and health screenings, including vitals, medical history review, and general assessment
- Determine medical clearance and fit-for-duty status based on clinical findings and physical demand requirements
- Document all evaluations accurately and work collaboratively with onsite clinical and operational teams
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Experience in occupational health, urgent care, employee health, or pre-employment screenings
- Ability to make clinical clearance decisions and assess functional capacity for job-specific tasks
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume screening setting and commit to the full shift
