A health services organization in Fishers, Indiana is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a two-day assignment supporting a high-volume screening event focused on human performance exams, medical clearance determinations, and fit-for-duty evaluations.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Thursday, November 18th and Friday, November 19
- Hours: 7am to 6pm
- Setting: In-person, event-based clinical setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform human performance exams, including functional movement and musculoskeletal assessments
- Evaluate lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling capabilities
- Review range of motion, strength, endurance, and any medical limitations affecting job performance
- Provide medical clearance determinations based on clinical findings and physical demand requirements
- Document evaluations accurately and communicate fit-for-duty status in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Experience in occupational health, urgent care, employee health, or pre-employment screenings
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make clearance decisions based on functional capacity
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a high-volume screening environment
- Familiarity with focused physical exams and health screenings
- Strong documentation and decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event setting
