This regional medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the greater Hickory area and surrounding communities. The facility features a 6-bed NICU department with strong provider support and is committed to delivering high-quality neonatal care to its patients.Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (NP) - Nurse Practitioner - NeonatologyJob Details:
- Provide advanced practice nursing care in a Level 2 NICU setting
- Shifts are 24-hour restricted on-site call, 8A-8A EST
- Provider MUST remain on site for the duration of each shift - there is NO callback for this role
- 2-3 patient encounters per shift in a 6-bed department
- Must hold an active North Carolina license - NC licensure required to apply
- Board certification required
- BLS certification required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30-90 days
- Nearest airport is Charlotte Regional Airport
- Locum Tenens engagement with a start date of 7/31/2026 on an ongoing basis
