Cardiology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity – Coastal Massachusetts

Join a well-established team of board-certified cardiologists providing inpatient cardiovascular care at a leading community hospital in southeastern Massachusetts.

Position Highlights

• Hospital-based Cardiology Nurse Practitioner role
• Collaborate closely with an experienced team of cardiologists
• Manage inpatient consults and follow-up care under physician supervision
• Provide care for patients before and after cardiovascular procedures
• Coordinate transitions of care and communicate with Hospitalists and Primary Care Providers
• Opportunity for training in the supervision of cardiac stress testing
• No STEMI call responsibilities
• No cath lab scrubbing requirements
• Schedule consists of three 10-hour weekday shifts with rotating daytime weekend coverage every fourth weekend

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner with Massachusetts licensure
• DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
• Knowledge of cardiac diagnoses, procedures, and medications
• Experience caring for cardiac catheterization patients preferred
• Proficiency with EMR systems, including Epic and eClinicalWorks
• Strong organizational, communication, and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative specialty and hospital-based environment
