Nurse Practitioner (NP)-1-Day Assignment

A health services provider is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Monroe, LA to perform Human Performance Exams and clearance evaluations in a fast-paced screening environment. This one-day assignment focuses on assessing functional capacity, documenting findings, and supporting fit-for-duty determinations.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Wednesday, October 21st
• Hours: 7am to 6pm
• Setting: Occupational Health Event

Responsibilities:

• Perform Human Performance Exams, including assessment of functional movement, musculoskeletal stability, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling capacity
• Review range of motion, strength, and endurance to identify any medical limitations or restrictions
• Conduct focused physical exams and health screenings, including vitals, medical history review, and general assessment as needed
• Provide medical clearance determinations and fit-for-duty evaluations based on clinical findings and physical demand requirements
• Document evaluations accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner while collaborating with onsite clinical and operational teams

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
• Ability to make clinical clearance decisions and assess functional capacity for job-specific tasks
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume screening setting
• Availability to commit to the full shift
