Remote Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

An innovative virtual care organization is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a remote role supporting patients across the U.S. This position delivers evidence-based primary care through a high-volume telehealth platform using asynchronous messaging, scheduled video visits, and on-demand consultations.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Flexible; weekdays and weekends
• Hours: Minimum 30 hours per month
• Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual primary care for pediatric and adult patients across the lifespan.
• Conduct scheduled and on-demand video visits and complete asynchronous patient consultations.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow up on acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications, order appropriate labs and diagnostics, and provide patient education and preventive care guidance.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and collaborate with the virtual care team to meet quality and productivity expectations.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• National Family Nurse Practitioner certification or board certification.
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
• One core state license in California, New York, or Washington DC, plus two additional state licenses.
• At least 2 years of clinical practice within the last 5 years in outpatient primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine treating patients of all ages.
• Strong telemedicine skills.
• Excellent clinical judgment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• High comfort level using technology and electronic medical records.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a virtual care team.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• At least one active prescribing credential.
