Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston GA is a full service DNV accredited community hospital with about 115 licensed beds, serving patients across much of middle Georgia for more than seven decades. It delivers a strong scope of acute care services, including a 24/7 Emergency Department, intensive care unit, neonatal care, general surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, women's health and pediatrics, along with specialty and rehabilitation services that supports patients before, during and after hospitalization.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with physicians in a team- based emergency department model
Participate in patient admissions and discharges
Serve the medical needs of a community -based population with compassion and excellence
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience preferred
Comfortable managing a variety of acuity levels
Working Hours

Strong clinical judgement in high acuity situations
Team-orientated approach and effective communication skills
Comfortable working in a community emergency department with a diverse population
