The network operates at a Level 2 trauma designation, supporting a wide range of complex surgical specialties.Opportunity:
Certified - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Job Details:
- Locum Tenens position requiring 40 hours per week with on-call availability once every 8 weeks
- Active Virginia medical license required
- Board certification required with ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- Provide general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients
- Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
- Manage obstetrical anesthesia cases
- Perform neurosurgical anesthesia including head and spine cases
- Handle thoracic cases (excluding open heart)
- Manage complex vascular cases (excluding open heart)
- Provide anesthesia for complex orthopedic cases
- Apply pain management techniques including post-op epidural and post-op extremity blocks
- Perform transforaminal procedures including lumbar and cervical
- Manage ventilation and evaluation of acute volume and blood pressure issues
- Perform central line and PA catheter placement
- Provide CRNA supervision as required
