Position Summary
Taylor Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our highly respected anesthesia team. As an independent, community-owned hospital, we provide CRNAs the opportunity to practice to the full extent of their education and training while delivering exceptional anesthesia care across a diverse surgical case mix.
Join a collaborative team consisting of 2 full-time Anesthesiologists (MDAs) and 4 full-time CRNAs in a modern surgical environment that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and work-life balance.

Practice Environment
Taylor Regional Hospital provides anesthesia services for a wide variety of specialties, including:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedic Surgery

Surgical Facilities
Practice in a modern surgical department featuring:
- 5 Operating Suites
- 2 Endoscopy Suites
- 1 Dedicated Urology Suite
- Experienced perioperative nursing and surgical support teams
- Advanced equipment and technology to support high-quality patient care
Job Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations.
• Develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Administer and monitor general, regional, MAC, and sedation anesthesia.
• Manage patients throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of care.
• Monitor physiological status and respond rapidly to changing patient conditions.
• Perform airway management and emergency resuscitation when necessary.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and procedural teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Document anesthesia services accurately within the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain current certifications, licensure, and credentialing requirements.
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current certification or eligibility as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Current RN and APRN licensure or eligibility for Kentucky licensure.
• Current NBCRNA certification.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain).
• DEA registration (if required by practice).
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Working Hours
• Full-time position
• Flexible scheduling
• Shared call rotation of 1:7
• Approximately 4–5 call shifts per month
• 6–8 call weekends annually
• Coverage of one holiday per year
• Additional call opportunities available for supplemental compensation
Skills
Taylor Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered anesthesia care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Clinical Skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of anesthesia principles, pharmacology, and physiology.
• Proficiency in administering general, regional, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and sedation techniques.
• Strong airway assessment and advanced airway management skills.
• Expertise in pre-anesthetic assessment, intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery management.
• Ability to recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
Technical Skills
• Experience providing anesthesia across a broad surgical case mix, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, OB/GYN, urology, ophthalmology, endoscopy, and pediatric dental procedures.
• Competency in vascular access, patient monitoring, and anesthesia equipment management.
• Accurate and timely documentation using an electronic medical record (EMR).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and procedural staff.
