Our practice uses the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, empowering our physicians and PA’s to care for patients without the burdens of insurance-driven red tape, high-volume schedules, or administrative burnout. DPC provides an exciting opportunity to practice medicine as we have always thought it should be: simple, direct to the patient, unobstructed. We have built a team and a work flow that we believe gives job and life satisfaction, and we are looking for someone to join in the fun and good work of it.
Company History
Dr. JD Steed started Walden DPC in 2017 after a close friend helped paved the way with her own DPC practice nearby. Dr. Steed wanted to build a practice that took great care of patients and also provided a great work environment and lifestyle for our other providers. Nine years in, we have five providers, two offices (Ocala and Leesburg), and over 2300 patients. We love serving local businesses by taking care of their employees, and those make up for 50% of our panels. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add an awesome physician to our team.
