General Surgeon need in WisconsinHospital employment opportunity in Wisconsin for two surgeons to join a collegial medical staff that includes 8 surgeons.
This is a 220-bed community hospital recently recognized by Consumer Reports at the #1 hospital in the nation for patient safety.  Medical Group is the system's network of employed primary care and specialty care physicians and mid-level providers located throughout the region serving a population of 600,000 people. Community is located within an easy drive to Milwaukee, Chicago and Minneapolis. The area school system provides students with an excellent educational experience.SF-1506-64033
- Looking for a quality-driven, experienced surgeon who enjoys cordial working relationships to provide leadership to a service-oriented general surgery practice
- Also looking for an additional surgeon to help meet the needs of the health system
- Develop your patient panel immediately with referrals from their employed primary care group including 119 providers
- Protected OR time
- 1:4 call rotation covering only one hospital - no trauma call required
- Opportunity for compensation at the 90th percentile of MGMA - salary plus RVU model with income guarantee
- Relocation expense reimbursement, generous signing bonus, full benefits package, malpractice coverage, 6 weeks time off for vacation and sick leave plus 2 weeks time off for CME
- Hospital has 19 OR suites and performs approximately 3,000 general surgical cases annually
- Robotic surgery is available with two da Vinci Si Surgical Robot Systems
- The successful candidates will be board certified in general surgery and have training and experience in multiple areas of general surgery to compliment the group expertise and to meet the needs of their patients
- Expertise includes vascular, breast, bariatrics, oncology, colorectal, endocrine and minimally invasive surgery along with bread and butter procedures
