A growing health system in Kalispell, Montana is seeking an experienced Wound Care Physician to join an established program serving patients throughout Northwest Montana. This position offers a diverse mix of outpatient and inpatient wound care, supported by an experienced Physician Assistant and a highly tenured team of wound-care nurses. With the current physician approaching retirement, the incoming physician will have the opportunity to ensure continuity of care while helping shape the future direction and growth of the wound program.
Position Highlights
* Full-time, permanent Wound Care Physician opportunity

* Serve a regional patient population spanning approximately a 100-mile radius

Clinical Focus
* Traumatic wounds, including minor burns
* Venous stasis wounds
* Diabetic foot ulcerations
* Arterial ulcerations
* Postoperative wound complications
* Complex and chronic wound management
* Inpatient wound consultations
* Outpatient wound management and follow-up
* Ostomy management and patient education
* Coordination of multidisciplinary wound care
Program & Leadership Opportunity
* Provide clinical leadership within an established regional Wound Center
* Help guide the program through its physician succession plan
* Collaborate closely with the wound-certified PA and experienced nursing team
* Develop individualized treatment strategies for complex wound patients
* Help shape clinical protocols and future program development
* Support continued growth of wound services throughout the Flathead Valley

Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in an appropriate medical specialty
* Wound Care certification or eligibility preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience preferred
* Experience managing complex and chronic wounds
* Comfortable providing both inpatient and outpatient care
* Strong clinical and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
* Interest in program development and long-term leadership
* Current or eligible Montana medical license
