Job Description
This southwest Georgia health system is seeking a board certified/board eligible Wound Care and Hyperbaric physician to join its medical staff. The new physician will join an employed practice with current Wound Care specialists.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time position, 5 days per week (Monday – Friday, 8a to 5p) in freestanding building across the street from the hospital
- Only multiplace hyperbaric facility between Atlanta, GA and Orlando, FL
- Averages 35 - 40 wound care patients per day and 5 hyperbaric patients per day
- Clinic offers 15 examination room and a 12-person multiplace hyperbaric chamber
- Clinic support staff includes: RN Case Manager, LPNs, MAs, RN Team Leader, RN ostomy nurse, in-patient wound care nurse, 3 hyperbaric techs, hyperbaric nurse case manager, and 2 Nurse Practitioners
Preference will be given to applicants who are Board Certified in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine by either the ABPM, ABEM, or AOA and have multiplace chamber experience in addition to experience in wound care modalities; consideration will be given to other interested candidates based on experience
