Job description
Schedule: Ongoing coverage beginning 02/01/2027 with 3 weekends per month. Call coverage runs Friday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM.
Patient Volume: Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift, with an average of 3 phone consults and 3 patients seen during call periods
EMR: Epic
Required Certifications: BLS
Required Skills/Procedures: General Adult Urology coverage, floor consults, emergency department consults, and weekend call management
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Board Certification: Board Certified required
License Requirements: Active North Carolina license or IMLC required
Additional Details: Call-only opportunity with no clinic responsibilities. Providers must be available by phone and able to arrive at the hospital within 20 minutes when needed. Adult patient population only. Long-term need with coverage anticipated for at least one year.
