Aya Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Urologist for short-term Locum Tenens call coverage at Verde Valley Medical Center (Northern Arizona Healthcare) in Cottonwood, AZ. Coverage dates: August 15-19, 24-hour call. Two openings available.
- Verde Valley Medical Center: 99-bed acute care hospital (Adult Level IV trauma)
- Support: 2 permanent physicians on the urology team
- Surgeries in OR 3-4 per week; robotics available but not required
- Cerner EMR; credentialing in about 30 days
- Phone interview process
Job Responsibilities
• Perform required procedures: ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT and flexible cystoscopy
• Cover approximately 3-4 OR surgeries per week and about 20 clinic patients per day
• Preferred skills: TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy; robotics available but not required
Qualifications
• Arizona license or IMLC LOQ (willing to license)
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Phone interview required; credentialing approximately 30 days
