Job description
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for an ongoing Locum Tenens opportunity at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, PA. Start date: 3/1/2027. This role is helping to build a candidate pool for upcoming coverage.
- Urology office with newer renovation, long-tenured staff, 9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms
- Support staff: 3 medical assistants, 1 LPN, surgical scheduler, 3 front office staff and a practice manager
- 73-bed hospital; Epic EMR
- No nights or weekend call; mix of clinic, OR and daytime hospital consults
- Coverage needed for about 6 weeks each month
Job Responsibilities
• See a minimum of 14 patients per day (new patient visits 30 minutes max; post-ops 15 minutes)
• Mix of clinic, OR and daytime hospital call (rounding and consults); no night or weekend call
• Cover approximately 6 weeks per month; no pediatric patients
Qualifications
• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ in hand (willing to license)
• DEA required
• 3 years of experience minimum
• Epic experience required in a clinic setting
