Job description
Part-time locum tenens opportunity for a Urologist covering clinic and 24-hour call at a Level I-IV trauma hospital system in York, PA. Specific coverage dates from September through early January.
- Adult Level I-IV trauma hospital with 16 operating rooms across the hospital and an ambulatory surgery center
- Clinic staff includes 4 MAs, 1 CSA and 1 RN; approx. 24-28 patients per day
- Robotic surgery and in-office cystoscopy equipment available
- Supervision of new APPs; Epic charting
- 2 hours gratis for 24-hour call; temporary privileges available for clean files
Job Responsibilities
• Mix of cystoscopy/stent procedures with office visits; approx. 24-28 patients per day
• Core procedures: cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, vasectomy and orchiopexy
• Supervise new APPs; robotic surgery available (optional)
Qualifications
• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ in hand required
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Epic charting
