Job description
Short-term locum tenens opportunity for a Urologist providing 24-hour call coverage at a 99-bed acute care hospital in Cottonwood, AZ. Specific coverage dates in mid-August.
- Adult Level IV trauma hospital with two permanent urology physicians
- Clinic approx. 20 patients per day; 3-4 OR cases per week
- Average call-back of 2-6 hours per day
- Cerner EMR; credentialing timeframe approx. 30 days
- Disposable flexible cystoscopes available; robotics available
Job Responsibilities
• Clinic approx. 20 patients per day; OR 3-4 surgeries per week
• Perform ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT and flexible cystoscopy
• Preferred: TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy; robotics available but not required
Qualifications
• Arizona license or IMLC LOQ (will license); AZ DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Required procedures: ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, flexible cystoscopy
• Cerner EMR; phone interview
