Job description
Locum tenens opportunity for a Urologist at an acute care hospital and affiliated clinic in Potsdam, NY. Full-time coverage preferred, with options to cover a minimum of 2 weeks per month.
- Level III trauma center with OR block 7:30a-3:00p and no case limit
- Primarily outpatient clinic with inpatient consults, procedures and post-op rounding
- Approx. 20 patients per day; adult patients only
- Clinic staff includes LPNs, CNA/CMAs and a patient representative; 4 exam rooms
- Epic charting; optional call arranged based on days worked
Job Responsibilities
• See approx. 20 patients per day; mix of clinic, procedures, rounding and consults
• OR block 7:30a-3:00p with no case limit at a Level III trauma center
• Optional 24-hour call (7a-7a); call can be arranged based on days worked per month
• Adult patients only (18+); limited robotic availability
Qualifications
• Active NY license in hand required
• Recent Epic experience required
• BLS required
• Agency-branded CV; no work history gaps over 30 days
