- Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients with acute neurologic conditions.
- Respond to and run stroke codes.
- Provide care for acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients.
- Evaluate and treat epilepsy and seizure disorders.
- Manage encephalopathy and altered mental status.
- Assess inpatient headaches and migraines requiring hospital-based evaluation.
- Provide neurologic care for dementia, cognitive, neuromuscular, and movement disorders.
Required
- Completion of a U.S. Neurology residency.
- Washington medical license.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology.
- Board certification within one year of start for board-eligible physicians.
- Ability to run stroke codes.
Preferred
- Spine experience.
- Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record.
