Locums | Urology | Harlingen, TX (TX License or IMLC) Why This Role A urologist is needed for two defined inpatient call-coverage blocks in November 2026, totaling 15 days. Additional ongoing coverage may become available. Coverage Dates

  • November 10 at 8 a.m.‚ÄìNovember 16 at 8 a.m.
  • November 21 at 8 a.m.‚ÄìNovember 30 at 8 a.m.
  • Candidates should provide availability for complete coverage blocks
Assignment Details Setting: Inpatient Coverage type: Call only Call type: Beeper Coverage includes assigned and unassigned patients Response time: 30 minutes Admissions required Trauma designation: Level II EMR: Cerner No APP or resident supervision responsibilities Required Clinical Skills Adult general urology Laparoscopic surgery Percutaneous nephrolithotomy Ureteroscopy Radical prostatectomy Nephrectomy Prostatectomy Pelvic lymph-node dissection Preferred Experience Advanced endoscopic techniques Pediatric and neonatal urology Radical cystectomy with ileal conduit Partial nephrectomy and intraoperative ultrasound Adrenalectomy Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy TRUS biopsies Incontinence procedures Penile prosthesis Advanced pediatric surgery Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology Active Texas medical license or IMLC Ability to perform all required procedures No robotic surgery requirement Credentialing Estimated timeframe: Approximately 30 days Temporary privileges are available
