Locums | Urology | Salisbury, MD (Active Maryland License Required) Why This Role Holiday urology call coverage is needed over Thanksgiving and Christmas 2026. One physician must cover every listed date; partial availability will not be accepted. Assignment Details

  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Coverage type: Call only
  • EMR: Epic
  • Trauma designation: Level III
  • Approximately 10 patients per shift
  • Admissions required
  • Assigned and unassigned patients
Required Coverage November 25 at 7 a.m.–November 27 at 7 a.m. December 23 at 7 a.m.–December 26 at 7 a.m. Must cover both complete blocks Call Details Beeper call for assigned and unassigned patients Call ratio: 1:4 Response time: 30 minutes Callback percentage: Approximately 25% Typical volume: - 1–3 phone consultations - 1–3 patients seen - 1–3 admissions Clinical Scope General inpatient urology Broad urologic experience preferred, including: - Advanced endoscopic techniques and ureteroscopy - Laparoscopic and robotic surgery - Percutaneous nephrolithotomy - Nephrectomy and prostatectomy - Radical cystectomy with ileal conduit - Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy - Incontinence procedures - ESWL Requirements Board-certified urologist Active Maryland medical license required Active BLS certification Ability to cover every listed date No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities Credentialing Temporary privileges are available for this need
