Locum tenens opportunity for a Urologist providing 24-hour call coverage at Verde Valley Medical Center (Northern Arizona Healthcare) in Cottonwood, AZ.
- 99-bed acute care hospital with Adult Level IV trauma designation
- Support staff includes 2 permanent physicians and a PA
- OR surgeries 3-4 per week; clinic approx. 20 patients per day
- Disposable flexible cystoscopes available; robotics available but not required
- Cerner EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Perform OR cases (3-4 per week) and clinic care (about 20 patients per day)
• Required procedures: ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT and flexible cystoscopy
• Preferred: TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy; robotics available but not required
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Arizona license or IMLC LOQ in hand, and AZ DEA
• Phone interview required; case logs and vaccination records required
