Aya Healthcare is seeking a Urologist for short-term locum tenens 24-hour call coverage at Verde Valley Medical Center (Northern Arizona Healthcare) in Cottonwood, AZ.
• 99-bed hospital with two permanent urologists on staff and a PA
• Coverage dates: August 15-19 (24-hour call, 8A-8A)
• Average callback of 2-6 hours per day; 3-4 OR cases per week
• Disposable flexible cystoscopes available; robotics available but not required
• Cerner EMR; phone interview before offer
• 99-bed hospital with two permanent urologists on staff and a PA
• Coverage dates: August 15-19 (24-hour call, 8A-8A)

Job Responsibilities
• Perform ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT and flexible cystoscopy
• Complete surgical cases in the OR (3-4 per week) and handle callback (2-6 hours per day)
• TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy preferred
Qualifications
• 1 year of experience minimum
• Arizona license or IMLC LOQ (willing to license)
• DEA required
• Case logs and vaccination records required
