Position Overview:
- Specialty: Urology
- Location: York, PA
- Start Date: November 23, 2026
- Duration: Ongoing assignment
- Coverage Type: 24-hour call
- EMR: Epic
- Patient Population: Primarily adults; occasional emergency testicular torsion cases may involve younger patients
Coverage Dates:
- November 23 at 7:00 AM – November 30 at 7:00 AM
- December 23 at 5:00 PM – December 25 at 7:00 AM
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Evaluate inpatient and emergency department consultations.
- Perform cystoscopy, stent procedures, ureteroscopy, prostate procedures, and lithotripsy.
- Provide office-based urology care, typically seeing approximately 24–28 patients when scheduled.
- Perform vasectomies and orchiopexies.
- Supervise new advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs).
- Robotic surgery and scope procedures are available based on the provider’s practice; scope experience is not mandatory.
Requirements:
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
- Active DEA
- Minimum of one year of experience and ability to provide 24-hour call coverage
Additional Note:
- Vasectomy reversal and penile implant procedures are not routine requirements. Circumcision support may rarely be requested during call.
- Travel, Lodging and Malpractice support provided.
