Aya Healthcare is seeking a Urology physician for short-term Locum Tenens 24-hour call coverage at Verde Valley Medical Center (Northern Arizona Healthcare) in Cottonwood, AZ. Coverage dates Aug 15-19; call coverage July-Dec as needed.
- 99-bed Level IV acute care hospital in Cottonwood, AZ
- Support staff: 2 permanent urology physicians and 1 PA; approx. 20 patients per day in clinic
- OR 3-4 surgeries per week; average callback 2-6 hours per day
- Robotics available (not required); Cerner EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Perform ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT and flexible cystoscopy; 3-4 OR surgeries per week
• Optional: TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy; robotics available but not required
• Cerner EMR; support from 2 permanent urologists and 1 PA
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Arizona license or IMLC LOQ (willing to license); AZ DEA required
• Phone interview process
